Zuiderstrandtheater The Hague
Design for the temporary Zuiderstrandtheater in Scheveningen, the Netherlands, for, among others, the Nederlands Danstheater and the Residentieorkest. In collaboration with Thijs Mauve and Jochem Groenland. The theatre accomodated an audience of 1000 people, and was with its flytower and orchestra pit suited for theatre plays, dance and opera, and with an acoustic shell and electro-acoustic system for concerts as well. During the construction of the new Amare in The Hague, it housed from 2014 to 2022 the big theatre, ballet, and opera performances in the city, and big concerts, among many more. The entire building is going to be moved to and completely re-used in Oss, the Netherlands.
